About Jessica
Jessica Wood is thrilled to bring her expertise and passion to the Compass Team as your dedicated Residential Real Estate Specialist in Northern Virginia.
Before embarking on her real estate journey, Jessica enjoyed a highly successful 17-year career in Federal, Commercial, and International IT Sales. However, her life took a significant turn with the birth of her first child, Jocelyn, who was diagnosed in utero with a congenital heart defect requiring life-saving open-heart surgery at just six days old. This experience inspired Jessica to pivot her career toward meaningful community-focused work.
Jessica began fundraising for Childrenās National Race for Every Child, serving on the Race Committee and later co-chairing the event alongside her husband, John. Her passion for giving back also led her to join 100 Women Strong in 2013, where she has worked to enhance the lives of Loudoun County residents.
A proud Northern Virginia resident since 1998 and a Great Falls local since 2013, Jessica deeply understands the areaās unique charm and community spirit. She and her husband share a vibrant household with their four childrenāJack, Violet, Jocelyn, and Julienāand two beloved dogs, Max (a Shih-Poo) and George (a Husky). Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering at her kidsā numerous sporting events, staying active at Orange Theory, running with friends, and even trying her hand at Mahjong.
With an intimate knowledge of the local market, exceptional negotiating skills, and a client-first mindset, Jessica is committed to helping you achieve your real estate dreams. Whether youāre buying or selling, you can rely on her motivation, expertise, and personable approach every step of the way.
