A native of Ocean City, Jim can attest to the virtues of life at the shore. For generations, his family has owned property in Ocean City, NJ dating as far back as the early 1900s. Jim became a licensed Realtor® in 1977 and obtained a real estate broker's license in 1980.
Jim's diverse background in real estate as a salesperson, broker, manager and business owner provides a strong foundation for success, selling and marketing hundreds of properties.
His dedication and expertise were recognized when he was selected as Realtor® of The Year for the Ocean City Board of REALTORS® (OCBOR) in 1984 and later served as President of the Ocean City Board of REALTORS® in 1988, earning the status of a REALTOR® Emeritus in 2018.
Continuously seeking to enhance his knowledge and stay updated on the current real estate landscape, Jim has earned designations such as Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI), and e-PRO®, an Internet professional certification program approved by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) for its members.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Jim enjoys running the beach and boardwalk (especially at sunrise) and actively participates in the community as a member of the Cape May County Civil War Roundtable and the South Jersey Garden Railroad Society, where he hosts an Annual Holiday Outdoor Train and Lights Event every December 29, 30, and 31 (www.OCNJTrains.com).
