About Jimmy

I’m Jimmy Wilson. Perhaps you’ve heard of me. Perhaps we’re meeting for the first time. I’m a smart, pragmatic, patient mid century modern Man, born in Detroit. I’ve lived in Chicago, Santa Fe, and Laguna Beach before settling in the heart of Southern California. I’ve been here for more than two decades, and I love it. I currently split my time between Pasadena and Palm Springs. My daily stomping grounds include Silverlake, Los Feliz, Eagle Rock, Pasadena, Altadena, Highland Park, Sierra Madre, South Pasadena, Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage. (I drive a lot!)


My background is heavily rooted in architecture and design. Being born in Detroit, it was impossible to escape the heady mix of automotive and industrial design and the Motown sound. In Chicago I studied architecture and graphic design. My ultimate move to the west coast was inevitable. The amazing architecture and design continually inspire me. The richness of cultures and history coming together make for an extremely interesting and enlightening life here. My real estate career has flourished with my partnership at Compass. Both buyers and sellers appreciate my calming demeanor.
