Jo Ellyn Bass

For JoEllyn Bass, Atlanta has always been her home base. A native of Tucker, Georgia, just outside of the city, JoEllyn has been familiar with Atlanta since she could say the word “Peachtree.” After graduating from Brenau Women’s College, JoEllyn and her husband, Scott, lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, from 1993 to 1996. They, then, moved to Charlottesville, Virginia where Scott got his MBA from the University of Virginia and JoEllyn taught at Charlottesville High School.

The couple moved back to Atlanta in 1997 to start a family and have been here ever since. They live in Brookwood Hills, where they’ve been for over 14 years, now. She chose the popular Buckhead neighborhood because of its convenient location, family-friendly community, and beautiful architecture. Since being part of the Buckhead community, JoEllyn has been actively involved in Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Trinity School, and The Westminster Schools.

JoEllyn joined Beacham & Company in August of 2013, bringing her positive energy, hard-working attitude, and detail-oriented mindset to the firm. While she may be new to real estate, JoEllyn brings a unique perspective to the business. Through her experience, she is able to connect with both Atlanta natives and those relocating to the city. She is also very involved in several local organizations, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the city and its residents.
