About Joan

Joan Maze Miles  is a Compass agent and has helped hundreds of clients realize their real estate goals. She truly cares about the needs of each buyer and seller and uses persistence, honesty, and hard work to bring each transaction to a successful close.

A fifth-generation Californian, Joan attended Santa Catalina School in Monterey and the University of California at Berkeley where she received a B.A. in Film. Before joining the real estate industry, she worked in television at the National Broadcasting Company (NBC), the Maryland Center for Public Broadcasting, and as a documentary film editor for the US Department of Interior in Washington D.C.

In addition to her expertise as a RealtorĀ®, Joan enjoys a wide variety of activities in her affiliations with the Society of California Pioneers; Museum of Craft and Design; Junior League of San Francisco; U.C. Womenā€™s Athletics; USTA Norcal; and the social organizations Town & Country Club of San Francisco, Berkeley Tennis Club, Stillwater Yacht & Beach Club in Pebble Beach.
