Joanna Poritzky brings a modern, marketing-forward approach to real estate, rooted in both lifelong exposure to the industry and a professional background in brand marketing, sales, and merchandising.
Joanna’s connection to real estate began early, growing up in a family deeply involved in the industry. With her mother, Cathy Duff-Poritzky as a leading expert in the field since 1987, Joanna was immersed in the business from a young age—attending open houses, absorbing the terminology, and gaining firsthand insight into what it takes to succeed. Born and raised in Yorktown Heights, Joanna attended the Yorktown Central School District from kindergarten through high school. Her deep local roots, combined with a lifelong passion for real estate, give her an intuitive understanding of the Westchester market and the people who live there.
As a vital member of the Cathy Duff-Poritzky Team at Compass, Joanna balances client representation with managing the team’s daily operations—including transaction coordination and office management. She also leads marketing efforts, leveraging her expertise in brand storytelling and digital strategy to elevate listings and streamline the real estate process.
Joanna earned her degree from Penn State University’s Smeal College of Business, where she majored in Supply Chain & Information Systems with double minors in International Business and Spanish. She was also an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
