Joanne Balbarin

A born-and-bred Chicagoan, Joanne knows the city’s many enclaves inside and out and she thrives on matching clients to the perfect home in the ideal neighborhood to suit their needs. She insists the only way to learn about a neighborhood is to experience it. She grew up in the Edgewater community, lived in Streeterville for a brief stint and for the past two decades has called Andersonville home. She serves buyer and seller clients across markets in Chicagoland. Joanne began her successful real estate career working in operations roles before becoming a full-time REALTOR®. Organized and process-driven, she keeps to-do lists to help deals run smoothly. She is supremely dependable and can seamlessly assist with showings, inspections, staging and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously. Joanne has worked in real estate for seven years and became a broker in 2017. She holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a certificate in project management from DePaul University. She brings more than a decade of experience in accounting, finance, event management and customer service to every transaction. A true believer in giving back to her beloved city, Joanne is actively involved in the community, enjoys volunteering, and is a passionate supporter of MCP Rescue and Dreams For Kids. She has served as a Chicago committee member for The Global Fund for Women and as an associate board member for Dreams for Kids. When not working, Joanne enjoys dining out, feeding her wanderlust, tackling her never-ending reading list, and searching for her dream home with her husband and fur baby.
