Joanne Nemerovski

In Joanne’s over thirty years in Real Estate, she has advised thousands of buyers and sellers, representing well over $1.5 billion in luxury real estate. She has consistently received top accolades and is recognized annually as one of Chicago’s top‑producing brokers.

In 1991, Joanne transitioned from corporate attorney to REALTOR®, hoping to pivot her negotiation expertise away from corporations and towards helping individuals and families finding their dream home. Within her first five years, she earned the “Founders’ Award” for selling over $100 million, the youngest recipient ever to do so.

After a successful transition into Real Estate, Joanne has continually challenged herself to keep learning and enhancing relevant skills. She is still a licensed attorney and is also an expert in the investment property space, with extensive experience in leasing, marketing, and management.

Joanne has received the title of “Mega Broker of the Midwest” by Unique Home magazine, is consistently named one of the “Top 100 Agents in America,” and has been named one of Chicago’s elite top producers by Chicago Association of REALTORS® since 1991. Joanne has also been honored by LuxeHome, Chicago Magazine, Zillow, and Five Star Agent. In 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017, Joanne was recognized as the top broker among all Berkshire Hathaway affiliates in the 13‑state Midwest Region. In 2018, Joanne moved to Compass to enhance her already proven client service offerings with Compass’ advanced resources and technological expertise.

In 2019, Joanne was #6 of all Illinois individual real estate brokers. As a native Chicagoan and active member of the Lincoln Park community, Joanne has an intimate and adept understanding of Chicago’s Real Estate market.
