"Joaquin is a very knowledgeable and conscientious realtor. He worked with me from out of town throughout the whole sales process and I never had to be present to sell the home or close. He kept me informed and let me make all the important decisions with his advice and expertise. He took care of improvement projects on site with me out of town. I was extremely pleased with his professionalism, communication and the results. My home had a contract within 4 days of listing."
"We had a great experience with Joaquin.
At first as we needed a short lease, which is hard to find, as most rentals have a minimum of 6 months. He took us to several homes and let us make a choice, while he provided clear information an options.
His communication has always been quick and clear. With us, he had a more personal approach, which we like as we like to build relationship and trust with those whom we work with.
After the rental we needed to look for a home to purchase, so Joaquin took us by the hand again and showed us several homes on the market.
The eventual closing went smooth and easy too.
Joaquin is respectful, calm, a great listener, and understands your needs. He takes his time for you and is pro-active in his actions.
I definitely recommend him if you’re looking for a home in Austin and surroundings!" - Fam
"Our experience with Joaquin was great. He is very knowledgeable, and provided excellent recommendations on how to prepare the house for staging and pictures. We had seven showings and multiple offers on the first day on the market and sold our house after only two days for $15K more than our initial asking price.
Joaquin guided us throughout all the business decisions and contract of the closing of the house with impressive results.
Overall we felt lucky to have Joaquin and his team working with us during the whole process.

"I worked with Joaquin this past fall to sell our home. He was a fantastic realtor to work with and had the full support of the entire Heyl team. He came prepared to meet with all the information (and more) that would be necessary to price our home, had beautiful photos taken after a staging assistant came through, and held strategically planned open houses. He followed up with all individuals who came through our home, but not with too much pressure. He helped sell our home quickly and for more money than we expected. We were relocating out of Austin, otherwise, I would have used him to buy a new home in a heartbeat.
Thank you, Joaquin for all your hard work. You did an exceptional job, are a strong communicator, prompt with any paperwork and questions, great at looking out for your clients, and have the resources of a really large team behind you!"
"Joaquin was incredibly instrumental in selling my home in Austin. I live in the DFW area so I was unable to be involved with the day to day needs that were required to improve and sell my house. He is from Austin which made him very in tune with the neighborhood my house was located in and this translated to him making some excellent recommendations on different improvements to put on the house before listing it. It took a few months to renovate and improve everything, and Joaquin took the lead in coordinating the different parties that were doing the work. When it came time to sell, everything happened just like he predicted it would, and I ended up getting WAY more than I ever thought possible on the sale of this home. His recommendations increased its value tremendously. I 100% recommended Joaquin for any of your real estate needs!"
Joaquin grew up in the beautiful city of Austin, and he is an Austinite through and through. He went to O.Henry Middle School, Austin High School, and then the University of Texas. A die-hard sports fan growing up, one of his all-time favorite moments was Vince Young's touchdown to seal the national championship for the Longhorns over USC.
Before becoming a realtor, Joaquin was a sports broadcaster. He was on the news reporting and anchoring sports in Dalton, Georgia, and then Monroe, Louisiana. He moved back to Austin and worked for Time Warner Cable News for seven years, getting to cover everything from the NBA Finals to the World Series and the Super Bowl. During that time, Joaquin met his wonderful wife, Caroline, and they are both expecting their first child.
Joaquin has always been passionate about getting to know people, making them feel comfortable, and learning their stories, so he decided to get into real estate. He loves the passionate people that he works with daily, and he loves helping clients through every step of the home buying and selling process.
