A native Texan, Joe made Los Angeles his home after attending the University of Texas, Austin for his undergraduate degree and then earning his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law. While in college, Joe worked in restaurants both waiting tables and bartending. He credits these years as crucial to being able to appreciate the importance of connecting with people and providing a top-notch experience. Before real estate, his diverse career in law, film production, and talent management refined his ability to communicate, negotiate, and understand people — skills that have become cornerstones of his real estate success.

In 2005, Joe and his wife and partner, Monique Carrabba, founded the Carrabba Group — a full-service real estate team built on trust, strategy, and a concierge-style approach. Over the years, Joe has served as Broker of Record overseeing more than 600 agents, giving him a unique vantage point and a mastery of both the legal and practical sides of real estate.
