Joe Janus

Joe Janus is a Phoenix REALTOR® with Compass who specializes in homes with character, from historic, midcentury, and contemporary to remodeled ranches and Santa Fe, Territorial, and Santa Barbara styles. He works across Central Phoenix’s historic districts, including Willo, Encanto-Palmcroft, and Coronado, as well as North Central Phoenix, Arcadia, Biltmore, Paradise Valley, and Scottsdale.

Licensed since 2005 and a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), Joe focuses on the upper tier of the character-home market, where standard comps often fall short. For sellers, that means pricing built around what makes the home different, marketing what sets it apart, and preparing it so fewer repair requests and credits come up in escrow. For buyers and people relocating, it means knowing these neighborhoods street by street and understanding what a 1930s or 1950s home is really worth and what it may need.

Joe started in luxury hospitality, managing a team of 25 at a boutique hotel by age 20. He still works that way: responsive, direct, and proactive. He’s easy to work with and doesn’t take himself too seriously, but he’s serious about the details. Every client works with Joe personally, from the first conversation through closing.
