With a decade of experience and more than 700 home purchases and sales guided or overseen, JoEllen combines market insight with genuine care for the people behind each deal. As Director of Sales for the Michala Costello Team at Compass, she leads with empathy and precision; mentoring agents, streamlining processes, and fostering the collaborative, high-standard culture that defines the team.

Based in Philadelphia’s Chestnut Hill and Mt. Airy neighborhoods since 2011, JoEllen and her husband of 28 years have three grown children, three “bonus” international students who became family, and two beloved pups, Livie and Mocha Sweetums. When she’s not negotiating or coaching, you’ll find her scouring flea markets for vintage finds, planning impromptu getaways, or hosting laughter-filled dinners with friends. She’s also deeply involved in social-justice initiatives, channeling the same heart for service that drives her work in real estate.
