About John
John Bilek brings over 25 years of elite real estate sales and management experience to his role as National Head of Sales Management and Regional Vice President at Compass. A proven mentor with exceptional marketing skills, he is responsible for the growth and expansion of the Compass brand and for supporting the company's mission of helping people find their place in the world..
John began his real estate career as a sales associate and quickly climbed the ranks to place among the top 2 percent of Realtors nationwide. He then moved into management directing a $150-million sales office and became Regional VP, responsible for Southeastern Pennsylvania and Northern Delaware. At Compass, John has served as Broker of Record in PA and Delaware, Managing Director and RVP in Philadelphia, and most recently has been appointed National Head of Sales Management. Throughout his career, John has managed more than $20 billion in real estate sales. Prior to real estate, he worked in management consulting with PwC. John also launched and co-chairs the annual Compass Cares Classic, which has raised nearly $400,000 for not-for-profit organizations throughout the United States.
John holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Penn State University and earned his MBA at the University of Delaware. Involvement in the community includes President of the Centreville Civic Association and a member of the Design Review Advisory Committee for New Castle County. He and his family reside in Centreville, Delaware, where they enjoy the area's great small-town vibe combined with easy accessibility to NYC, and the Delaware beaches. In his free time, John enjoys athletic pursuits, including skiing, running, squash and golf; creative pursuits, such as drawing and painting; and spending time with his three daughters.
