About John

John received his BS in Finance from Northeastern Illinois University and his MBA with a Concentration in Real Estate from Roosevelt University. John was a branch manager for a local bank for nearly 5 years before switching his career to real estate in 2007. John worked in residential sales, leasing, development and management with his former brokerage prior to joining The MG Group in November 2012.

Since joining The MG Group, John has sold over $225M in real estate and closed 500+ transactions (and counting). He has helped developers acquire, design and sell nearly 100 condos/townhouses/single family homes during that time, and has also assisted countless traditional buyers and sellers.

John was born and raised in the North Center neighborhood of Chicago and now lives in River West with his family. He ran the Chicago Marathon in 2021 and also completed the New York City Marathon in 2022 while being sponsored by St. Jude (for which he raised over $20,000 as a result).  He enjoys attending sporting events, staying fit and partaking in Chicago’s unparalleled dining scene with his family.
