About John
I’m originally from a small town in southern New Mexico called Bent, population 500 (there isn’t a zero missing). A couple years after graduating from New Mexico State University, I found myself in Denver. While working as an escrow officer for several title companies, I began buying multi-unit investment properties, and by the third property I had the epiphany that I could be my own agent. I got my license in 2011 and shortly after, left my full time escrow officer role to pursue real estate full time. After living in Mayfair for a couple of years, I moved to Park Hill, which I love, but I miss being able to walk to restaurants along Colfax. What I like most about the real estate industry is helping people. My approach to real estate is simple and can be summed up in the statement: ā€œlet’s work together to reach the best possible terms for selling your home or finding you a new one, and let’s enjoy the processā€. I try to make the process enjoyable and not a chore. A lot of this comes from educating buyers and sellers on what to expect so they’re not surprised when roadblocks and speed bumps appear.
