John then became an associate of Jean Felts, for whom he appraised commercial real estate, covering a range of tasks from vacant land valuation to determining just compensation for owners of property involved in the convention center expansion. After serving as general manager of a local janitorial and chemical supply company, John joined his brother's business, training both teachers and students in desktop publishing software for annual yearbook production and assisting coaches with athletic awards programs, including letter jackets, patches, and championship rings.

With their grandchild now in school, John focuses full-time on helping both his clients and fellow agents achieve their goals and lead lives they love.
