JOLAINE

Having lived in Palo Alto since 1972, Jolaine has fostered a keen knowledge of the area and its surrounding communities. Her dynamic blend of local awareness and proven real estate professionalism earned her the "Achiever of the Year" designation after only one year in the business. Jolaine's diligence and energy bespeak her skills as a great negotiator and strategist. Her clients' best interest always comes first, which is reflected in the fact that a good portion of her business is from referrals from past satisfied clients.

Prior to beginning her real estate career in 1989, Jolaine and her husband actively invested in real estate properties including building several spec houses. This experience has been invaluable in her current position. Jolaine is a shining example of a well-organized, service oriented agent. She admits to being relentless in her work. "I treat each listing and sale as if it were my own personal transaction."

JACK

Jack brings to Compass the knowledge, skills, and professionalism that served him well in his previous careers as a Stanford-trained architect and luxury homebuilder.

Jack has always lived on the Peninsula, and has been a Palo Alto resident since 1972. He was born in San Mateo, grew up there and in San Carlos, and graduated from Carlmont High School. He then entered Stanford, where he received bachelors and masters degrees. As an architect, Jack was responsible for the design of many corporate and residential projects over a period of 25 years. In the early 90s, he started a residential construction and development firm with a partner, designing and building nearly 40 luxury homes in Atherton, Palo Alto, Portola Valley, Los Altos Hills and Saratoga.

The progression from architect to homebuilder to Realtor has been very deliberate for Jack. He says, "It's all about working with clients, which I enjoy the most. "
