Jon Filson

Jon has over 25 years of real estate experience in the Appraisal Industry and Real Estate Sales Industry. Jon has earned the SRA and AI-RRS designation with the Appraisal Institute, along with being a founding member of GAAPA and a member of the NAREA. His extensive market knowledge and understanding of the valuation techniques and methodology set him apart when assisting clients with the proper list price, which in turn creates a more fluid transaction.

Jon began his career by opening Filson’s Real Estate Appraisal Service, Inc., and is still the company’s owner and president. He has since expanded his footprint by using the experience and knowledge gained in the appraisal industry in the sales field working with a top real estate firm in the sales of condominiums, mid-level, and higher-end luxury homes. Jon has extensive experience within the city limits, outside the perimeter, and in North Fulton County (Roswell) where he currently resides.

Jon grew up in the Atlanta area and then attended college at Georgia College & State University. He is the proud father of three boys, that are currently in grade school. In his free time, he enjoys tennis, camping, hiking, community involvement, and spending time with his friends and his children.
