About Jon
JON FINCHER is a Luxury Real Estate Specialist and lead agent in Tampa for the Compass Sports & Entertainment Division. A Tampa native and lifelong resident, Jon represents buyers and sellers in Tampa and the surrounding markets. As a member of the Sports & Entertainment Division, he has an excellent platform to promote and sell luxury properties in this market segment. By providing extensive market knowledge as well as diligent analysis and great attention to detail, Jon has built an impressive list of Sports & Entertainment clients in his decade of working in real estate.
With a background in mortgage banking, Jon is uniquely qualified to advise buyers on the best way to structure financing. He knows that a personās home is often the largest purchase theyāll make in life, and he likes helping people navigate the process. Jon enjoys building relationships with his clients, many of whom are professional athletes. He is sensitive to the individual needs of athletes, including the transient nature of their lives, and heās mindful of the importance of being able to resell a home if plans change. In every transaction, discretion is Jonās priority. He trusts that his clients know what they want, and he avoids the āhard sell.ā Jon is also accustomed to working with the clientās team, which may include a sports agent, CPA, or financial advisor. His goal is for everyone to be on the same page when itās time to make a decision.
Growing up, Jonās favorite sport was baseball. He played center field and rooted for the Atlanta Braves. Nowadays he follows players more than a team. He still likes to get to the batting cage and also plays golf, but he relaxes best when heās on a boat in the bay. At the advice of his Cuban grandmother, heās working to improve his Spanish.
