About Jon

With a background in mortgage banking, Jon is uniquely qualified to advise buyers on the best way to structure financing. He knows that a person’s home is often the largest purchase they’ll make in life, and he likes helping people navigate the process. Jon enjoys building relationships with his clients, many of whom are professional athletes. He is sensitive to the individual needs of athletes, including the transient nature of their lives, and he’s mindful of the importance of being able to resell a home if plans change. In every transaction, discretion is Jon’s priority. He trusts that his clients know what they want, and he avoids the “hard sell.” Jon is also accustomed to working with the client’s team, which may include a sports agent, CPA, or financial advisor. His goal is for everyone to be on the same page when it’s time to make a decision.
Growing up, Jon’s favorite sport was baseball. He played center field and rooted for the Atlanta Braves. Nowadays he follows players more than a team. He still likes to get to the batting cage and also plays golf, but he relaxes best when he’s on a boat in the bay. At the advice of his Cuban grandmother, he’s working to improve his Spanish.
