About Jonah
Jonah Katz is an accomplished real estate professional with a diverse career in luxury sales and design in New York. In 2012 he founded a boutique brokerage and grew to 20+ agents before moving his team to one of the leading residential firms in the city. Alongside his partner Lyon Porter, Jonah's team is responsible for over $1 Billion in real estate sales to date.
The team serves a diverse portfolio of clients including investors, developers, and home buyers. Notable transactions include a record breaking $4.7 Million sale at Williamsburg’s Mill Building and the $18 Million sale of the penthouse at the renowned Puck Building. In 2014 the team opened Urban Cowboy in Brooklyn, a boutique hotel brand which has since grown to include Urban Cowboy Nashville, the award-winning Public House Bar, Urban Cowboy Lodge, The Dive Motel, and Urban Cowboy Denver. Internationally known for its emphasis on design, experience, and the transformative power of connection, Urban Cowboy and the team's interior design projects have been featured in Architectural Digest, Condé Nast, GQ, Vogue, and many more of the world’s top publications.
Jonah attended NYU's Schack Institute of Real Estate for Master's in Real Estate. He serves on the Steering Committee of the Young Patrons Lincoln Center and during his time off enjoys vacationing at his home on Fire Island.
