About Jonathan

Jonathan came to Philadelphia in 1983 to study the cello at the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts now the University of the Arts. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance and has been an active freelance cellist in the region since 1987. You can see Jonathan perform regularly at Verizon Hall in the Kimmel Center with Peter Nero and The Philly Pops and with many performing organizations throughout the area.

You will find Jonathan a fun, relaxed person to be around, very smart and extremely reliable.

As an instrument-rated, private pilot Jonathan regularly flies for Angel Flight East, providing free air transportation on private aircraft to needy people facing medical challenges.

Jonathan lives in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia with his wife and two children.
