Jordan Lento

My first job working at a popular local Florida restaurant chain taught me many things, but first and foremost was that being of service is at the core of everything that drives me. While I didn’t stay in the restaurant industry after college, I have taken the lessons of how delivering great service can add immeasurable value to an experience with me throughout my career. It’s these lessons that excite me about joining the Compass family and leveraging my prior service experience to help people through the endeavor of selling and/or purchasing a home in the East Bay. 

 My past experience in the healthcare industry has afforded me the opportunity to hone my communication, project management, organization and negotiating skills to navigate complex projects through to completion. After pursuing a BS in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Florida and an MBA from The Florida State University, I’ve spent the last 15 years as a project manager, implementing complex technology solutions designed to improve the lives and outcomes of patients while making technology-enabled medicine easier for physicians to deliver. When I am not working, you’ll find me running around Oakland, it’s by far my favorite way to appreciate the rich and diverse culture that our neighborhoods have to offer. I am also a regular of the many trails weaving through the East Bay and enjoy being able to escape the energy of The Town in a matter of minutes. I am extremely passionate about cooking, food and eating and love finding new local restaurants that in my mind define East Bay living. 

 I grew up on the East Coast, on Long Island until I was 10 and then in Florida through graduate school. After school, I lived in Boston for 5 years before finally coming to my senses and heading west to California in 2013. My partner Andrew and I own a home in Redwood Heights where we raise our two dogs (Morty, a shepherd rescue mutt and Gavin, our beloved senior cocker spaniel) and love the lifestyle that Northern California has to offer us all.
