About Jose
Born in Cali, Colombia and raised in Key Biscayne, FL, Jose Cuellar is a longtime Miami local with an intimate understanding of the lifestyle, culture and overall market in Southeast Florida. He represents buyers, sellers and investors in homes and condominiums throughout Miami-Dade County, with a focus on luxury properties in Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, East Kendall, South Miami, Miami Beach, Brickell, Key Biscayne and Doral.

 

An entrepreneur at his core, Jose co-founded Buttercream Cupcakes & Coffee with his wife in Coral Gables and built a long-lasting network of small business owners and local homeowners throughout Miami. Over the course of 12 years managing the business, he worked as a Realtor part-time until he sold the shop in 2019 and transitioned full-time to real estate. His foundation is centered on compassion, customer service and persistence; he puts the time in to get to know his clients, understand their goals, and guide them through the process to their dream home or the highest bid on a sale. He stays on top of his deliverables and consistently goes above and beyond to offer an elevated real estate experience. Fluent in English and Spanish, Jose connects with virtually everyone in Miami, offering prospective clients a bridge into the exquisite South Florida culturescape.

 

With the support of the robust Compass technology and service offering, including state-of-the-art data and analytics software, renovations and staging programs, and a centralized messaging portal, Jose can streamline communication and multitask more efficiently, freeing up time to give back to his clients. In a booming market that draws people from all over the world, Miami is a relocation hub with world-class beaches, gastronomy, design, architecture, and a growing technology sector. Jose and his wife give back to the community in various ways, including donating to charities that focus on children, animal rescue and animal rights. He enjoys spending his free time with his family savoring the lush and laid-back Miami lifestyle.
