About Joseph
Joseph Satto is the principal the Fresh Air Team at Compass, one of the most successful brokers in the Catskills + Hudson Valley. In addition to representing buyers and sellers of a large portion of high-end real estate in this area, his expertise spans across multiple sectors of the industry including luxury residential development (via Fresh Air Land Co) as well as hospitality development (as a partner in Livingston Farm, the first full-scale agritourism resort in the Catskills).
Prior to launching his boutique brokerage in 2015, he practiced law for 17 years at Kramer Levin in NYC where he represented hedge funds and investment banks in complex financial transactions. He has a critical eye for detail in all aspects of the buying and selling process; examining properties, analyzing market conditions, crafting compelling offers, and helping clients to navigate the inevitable twists and turns of most real estate transactions. He is a skilled negotiator and a zealous advocate whose sole focus it to serve the best interest of his clients.
Joseph graduated from Fordham Law in the top 10% of his class. Prior to attending law school, he graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Stonybrook. He was also a long time contributor to the Huffington Post and wrote primarily about the farm-to-table food movement and sustainable travel for the Huffington Post.
