Josh Porthouse

Josh Porthouse is a 16-year Marine Corps Infantryman, licensed Florida REALTOR, and Host of the podcast, Transacting Value. 

He created his real estate brand, Porthouse Tampa Bay Realtor, to educate, empower, and encourage people about the impacts of home ownership on purpose, hope, and self-worth. He uses its namesake YouTube channel to discuss not only the social science of real estate; but also, the character, culture, and community underpinning the Greater Tampa Bay area. 

Josh’s podcast, Transacting Value, is a health and wellness podcast that features conversations with real people to provide grounding and clarity during identity crises and reality checks. Josh was born and raised in Pasco County, Florida, and graduated from Saint Leo University as a Business major. He volunteers regularly as a member with American Legion Post 108, Florida Veterans Coalition, Florida Association of Veteran-Owned Businesses, and League of Nonprofits; and also as a founding Board Member for ADVON Foundation.

He values authenticity, respect, honor, and a good conversation. He routinely speaks about family, fitness, finance, food, and fatherhood.
