Josh Rubin is one of the top-producing individual Realtors® in the United States and a leading luxury real estate agent serving Menlo Park, Portola Valley, Woodside, Atherton, Palo Alto, Los Altos, and the Mid-Peninsula. Josh is known for delivering exceptional results with a highly personalized approach.
A Bay Area native, Josh was born and raised in Portola Valley. He attended UC Santa Cruz, where he earned a degree in Computer Science while competing on the NCAA water polo and swimming teams. After graduation, he returned to the peninsula and spent several years teaching math and computer science at both the middle and high school levels. He also volunteered with the National Energy Education Development Project.
Real estate has been a passion since college, when Josh purchased his first home and immediately recognized the power of homeownership and long-term investing. Fascinated by the local market, he spent countless weekends touring open houses, studying neighborhoods, and learning what makes Peninsula communities so special. It wasn't long before he earned his real estate license and began building what would become one of the top individual real estate businesses in the country.
Today, Josh combines his analytical background, teaching experience, and deep local roots to provide clients with expert guidance and straightforward advice. His business is built on trust, market knowledge, strong negotiation, and a commitment to helping buyers and sellers make exceptional decisions in one of the most competitive real estate markets in the world.
He lives in Ladera near Portola Valley with his wife, two daughters, and their dogs.
