Every home has a story, but not every realtor knows how to tell it.  Born and raised in Lanikai with an affinity for design and architecture, Jovanna provides Real Estate with a Specialized Touch. She values the importance of actively listening to buyers and sellers and her outgoing and genuine personality immediately puts her clients at ease. Being a natural leader and negotiator, she stays calm and focused, expertly guiding her clients through every aspect of their real estate transaction.

Jovanna's decision to enter real estate was an easy one -- the Hawaii market has been a lifelong passion that drew her in after a previous career in philanthropic fundraising. Jovanna attended Punahou School and later earned a Bachelorā€™s in Business Administration from Skidmore College in New York.

With deep ties to the islands, she returned home after previously living in Madrid, Grenada and New York to start a family with her husband, Dr. Dylan Fern. She lives by her motto, a quote from Mark Twain, ā€œThe secret to getting ahead is getting startedā€.

Her out of work loves? Her two daughters, her Labrador Bolt and Cavalier King Charles Dash Tanner, interior design, collecting ART and riding (A lifelong competitive equestrian both showing in Hunter Jumpers as well as playing Polo on her college team, she won a National Championship in 2002).  Jovanna proudly serves on the board of directors for Adventist Health Castle Medical Center in Kailua.
