Joy Li

Joy was born in Beijing, China and spent her early childhood there.  When she was a teenager, her father, who was a Chinese diplomat was assigned to a post in Vienna, Austria.  Her family traveled extensively throughout Europe, and Joy was able to immerse herself in the German language and European culture.  After graduating from Vienna International School in Austria, Joy went to Hawaii where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Travel Industry Management from the University of Hawaii.

After graduation, Joy moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and worked for worldwide renowned hotel chains for nearly 10 years.  She held management positions in several departments in hotel operations, sales & marketing and was an Assistant General Manager.  Her extensive work experience in the hotel industry provided her with a strong foundation to smoothly transition into real estate and mortgage brokering.

During the housing boom in the mid 2000's, she gained extensive experience as a mortgage broker and Realtor.  She was well-known not only for her ability to close challenging deals but also as someone who truly cared about her clients and treated them with respect, honesty and integrity. 

Living all over the world has taught Joy the complexity of relocating and buying property in a new place. Joy takes pride in her focus on customer satisfaction, and in successfully educating and assisting her clients on the challenging process of buying, selling and/or investing in real estate. 

Joy is the perfect synthesis of East and West.  She is fluent in English, Chinese Mandarin, and conversant in Cantonese and German.  She is excited to meet the new challenges of clients, both local and international, who desire to invest in real estate in high valued neighborhoods.
