"We bought our home in Wainaku through Judy and could not have asked for better representation. She brought us the property as a premarket opportunity. We were able to do a remote showing and submitted an offer before it ever hit the open market.
What stood out about working with Judy wasn't just the access, though. We were buying remotely from Texas, and she went well beyond what any agent is expected to do. She drove us around personally when we were on-island looking at properties in Honokaa and Waimea. When we were looking at some Kohala properties she gave us unvarnished local intelligence about potential school commutes, tourist traffic, and realistic drive times that you cannot get from the mainland. That advice helped shape our search and steered us toward the right home.
She was incredibly helpful in identifying vendors and connected us with local inspectors, an IWS contractor, and others that a mainland buyer cannot easily put together remotely.
When it came time to close, Judy handled the final walkthrough on our behalf. One detail worth mentioning: the seller's agent on our transaction was also a Compass agent and a friend of Judy's. Despite that, Judy continued to advance our interests vigorously throughout the process. We never felt the relationship compromised her advocacy for us.
If you're buying on the Big Island, especially remotely, I'd recommend Judy without hesitation." -Buyer

"Great experience. Judy practiced great communication, sharing actions & options with me and responding quickly to my calls and texts. She was a true partner in assessing the strengths and weaknesses of our property and strategizing how to make it more attractive to prospective buyers. She was always on hand to help guide me through the paperwork etc. of selling the property and always responsive to our concerns. I don't know how many times she had to go show our property, in rain or shine, but she always cheerfully reported on the viewings. Really, the ideal realtor for our property." -Molly

"Judy was a fantastic resource from the very beginning for us! We are first time homebuyers and had no knowledge of the process, so we had a TON of questions. Judy took the time to answer all of our questions, even before we were actively looking to purchase a home. During our journey to becoming homeowners, Judy was mindful and explained every step we were going to be taking together. When we had questions, she always had a prompt answer for us and kept us in the loop every step of the way. She brought up issues to look into that we had never thought to look at. We connected with Judy from the very beginning. Her knowledge of the island, experience and love for the island let us know we had someone always looking out for us. Judy is an invaluable person to have on your side when buying a home." - Danielle

"For several years, my wife and I have been interested in buying property on the Big Island with our eventual return to Hawai'i in mind. We have asked Judy for guidance on Big Island real estate several times over the last five years. Judy has lived and worked on the Big Island for most of her life and her familiarity with the various island communities combined with her knowledge of the practical, business, and legal aspects of life there has made her advice indispensable. She has a knack for getting to the heart of the matter that has really made our search efficient and enjoyable."

"Judy helped us purchase a home in a very hot seller's market. She did not pressure us in making any decisions, in fact she cautioned us against moving too quickly. That being said, when we decided to make an offer on a house she took the bull by the horns as was able to process the offer and get it out that same day! She is a go-getter. If we had another realtor we might still be looking for a home."

She has a good knowledge of the area. I also like that she has a legal background. It helps me feel assured that the whole contracting process will go well."
