With over 30 years of diverse experience, Julian has worked across nearly every facet of the business. After earning his BA from the University of Oregon and a JD from Willamette University College of Law, he began his career by investing in single-family and small multi-family properties. He then shifted to development, where he oversaw industrial warehouse conversions into luxury condominiums and retail spaces, managing every stage from design to sale. His legal expertise played a crucial role in drafting the necessary development documents, setting a strong foundation for his future successes.
Julian's career trajectory continued to rise when he moved to New York City in 2000, working for prominent property management companies, including the largest residential management company in NYC. There, he managed large, luxury co-op and condominium buildings. His real estate brokerage career began shortly after, working directly with New York’s top agents and playing a significant role in over $750 million in transactions. Julian then joined Compass in 2015 as a managing director of sales, where he oversaw top-producing principal agents and teams, contributing to over $15 billion in sales volume, which solidified his position as a leading figure in the industry.
Outside of work, Julian enjoys traveling, photography, skiing, scuba diving, and spending time with his family.
