Before becoming a broker, I was a teacher and lifelong entrepreneur — I've owned a newsstand and cigar store, a chain of video stores, and a pizzeria in Harlem, and once drove a New York City taxi. Unusual résumé for a real estate broker, but every one of those jobs taught me something about people, business, customer service, negotiation, and staying calm under pressure.
Friends have called me a modern Renaissance man. I love traveling, reading, cooking for friends, road cycling, skiing, scuba diving, hiking, sailing, and I've even tackled Class V whitewater rapids.
