Kaci Mckenzie

Kaci is a West Austin native and proud Westlake High School alum who grew up in the Lost Creek and Rob Roy neighborhoods. As someone who has lived overseas and traveled the world, she has seen firsthand how Austin has evolved—from the “Keep Austin Weird” vibe of the 90s to the booming tech hub it is today. No matter how much the city changes, she still believes Austin is the best place in the world to buy a home, invest in property, and put down roots.

Earlier in her career, Kaci lived off South Lamar in the heart of 78704 and loved her time experiencing the energy of the city. That season gave her a deep appreciation for South Austin neighborhoods like Zilker, Barton Hills, Bouldin Creek, and Travis Heights. Today, she often helps clients searching for homes in 78704 who want to enjoy the same vibrant lifestyle close to downtown, Lady Bird Lake, and South Congress.

With a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Texas real estate license since 2014, Kaci brings both financial expertise and market knowledge to every client. Real estate isn’t just her career—it’s her family legacy. As a 4th-generation real estate professional, she has worked alongside her parents and brother in developing, building, and investing in Austin real estate. Over the years, she has guided first-time homebuyers, luxury home sellers, seasoned investors, builders, and developers through successful transactions. In 2022, she earned her Broker license and joined the Austin Residential Group at Compass, led by Heather Hudson.

In addition to helping clients buy and sell homes in Austin, Kaci is also a real estate investor and acted as general contractor on her personal home in the Apache Shores neighborhood of Lakeway, TX. Her hands-on building experience gives her clients unique insight into new construction, renovations, and investment opportunities across the Austin area—including Westlake, Barton Creek, Zilker, Tarrytown, Bee Cave, and Lakeway.
