About Kara
Kara brings over 10 years of real estate sales experience, backed by a strong foundation in marketing and relationship-building. Prior to her real estate career, she spent two years in real estate marketing, supporting and farming for top-producing agents, gaining valuable insight into the industry from a marketing perspective. Before that, she spent a decade in the University of Hawaiʻi Athletic Department, serving as a Corporate Sales Manager in sports marketing.
Real estate in Hawaiʻi is uniquely personal, and that is what Kara enjoys most. Every home and every family has a story. As a homeowner herself, she understands that a home is more than a property; it's where memories are made!
Beyond real estate, Kara has served on the Board of the Hawaiʻi Children's Cancer Foundation (HCCF) for the past 15 years. She also serves as the Worship Director at Metro Christian Church, where her husband, Brandon Ahu, is the Lead Pastor.
Kara and her husband have been married for 10 years and are blessed with two wonderful children, ages 7 & 9. She is grateful for the trust her clients place in her and is honored to help them navigate their real estate goals with care, integrity, and expertise.
