Karen’s passion for real estate is rooted in a deep appreciation for architecture and interior design which was fostered by nearly a decade of living in Europe’s most historically and culturally rich cities, London and Milan. While living in Europe, Karen built a strong foundation of knowledge related to the most coveted real estate markets and unique architectural and interior styles that these cities offered. In Milan, Karen’s home was situated in the trendy and historical Brera District, the art and furniture design destination of Italy and Via Montenapoleone, the fashion design mecca of the world. This is where Karen would spend her days, alongside seasoned furniture artisans, antiquarians and up and coming fashion designers. In London, Karen formalized her passion for design by attending The KLC School of Interior Design, graduating with honors and subsequently studying Antique Furniture and Decorative Arts at world renowned Christie’s Auction House, London.
The indelible experiences fostered in Europe would serve as the guiding principles Karen currently utilizes in building her real estate practice. Alongside a dose of pragmatism, Karen strives to bring passion and honesty, an eye for form and functionality and an appreciation for architectural integrity to each and every client. As a former e-commerce entrepreneur and small business owner, Karen understands the importance of impeccable customer service and the art of negotiation. For several years she has worked alongside a well regarded real estate developer in the Hamptons and has had the opportunity to consult on several development and design projects in both the commercial and luxury residential real estate arenas. Karen specializes in seamlessly transitioning families from a city to a suburban lifestyle, relocating and repatriating families from abroad, first time home buyers as well as luxury, rental and investment properties. Her energy, creativity, attention to detail, expertise and market knowledge allow her to deliver a unique, seamless and refreshing approach to real estate.
Karen and her husband have owned and rented properties in the most competitive real estate markets in the world including Milan, London, Manhattan, Greenwich and the Hamptons. She has children that have attended private school in Manhattan and have also thrived in both the highly sought after private and public schools in Greenwich.
