Currently one of the Sales Managers of the Beverly Hills and Hollywood offices in one of California’s most diverse, dynamic and desirable real estate marketplaces, Karen Greensweig has achieved and maintained an exceptional position of respect and appreciation. Her knowledge, leadership skills and commitment to raising the ethical standards and practices of the industry have earned her the esteem of clients, peers and even competitors. “One of the proudest moments of my long career when I was an agent, was being selected by my fellow agents as the agent they would choose to represent them in a personal transaction,” Karen says.
Licensed for over 40 years, Karen admits that she was already “obsessed with real estate by the time I was 16.” Born in Chicago, she moved to Los Angeles in the third grade, graduated from Beverly Hills High and studied art history and psychology at UCLA and U.C. Berkeley. She nonetheless married a graduate of USC and raised two daughters while residing in some of the desirable neighborhoods on the Westside of Los Angeles, Brentwood, Westwood and Beverly Hills. Now a proud grandmother, she and her husband enjoy exploring the Central Coast when visiting their grandchildren in Templeton.
Karen’s detailed knowledge of the market, transaction skills and good-humored patience made her a natural fit for management positions, which she has held continuously since 1994 as the go-to person for transaction questions.
Karen’s goal at Compass is “to provide my agents with the resources they need to offer their clients exceptional service and to become the most professional and productive agents in their marketplaces.” Outside of her family, her greatest legacy is all of the agents she has trained and/or nurtured over the years who carry on her tradition of elevating the real estate industry.
