About Karen
Karen grew up in Michigan prior to moving to Texas, where she lived for 37 years in the DFW area, working as a dental hygienist, education coordinator, and Operations Manager for DFW Implant Team, a periodontal practice.
Her interest in real estate and homes began about 30 years ago when she and her daughter, who is an experienced Realtor in Austin, would drive around areas to view homes and neighborhoods, Open Houses, and evaluate changing trends and pricing. Over the years, she ventured into real estate investing, owning 3 different properties at once. She always knew her second career would involve her passion for homes with the opportunity to help others in one of the most exciting and important decisions made.
After visiting friends in Austin 25 years ago, it confirmed her desire to ultimately make Austin her home. With having 2 of her children and 3 grandchildren in Austin, she knows Austin is where she wanted to be.
She and her partner moved to the Austin area just before the start of the Covid-19 lockdown, at which time she joined the Core Residential Group with Realty Austin as their Licensed Sales Associate.
