It was a 1906 historic home that had been fully restored (not renovated) and was located in the just east of downtown Austin, Holly Street Area neighborhood. Definitely NOT your basic 3/2 in the suburbs! To get top dollar, she made sure we had beautiful professional photographs and worked with me to get as much press coverage, agent tours, and market buzz going as possible.
But we were struggling because this was the same time the homeless population started to explode just around the corner, which scared away quite a few potential buyers. So, we started to work with using targeted open houses to get as many buyers interested as possible. Throughout the entire process, Karen remained positive and kept “the sales machine” running smoothly. We worked through a few offers and finally found the right buyer.
