Known for her tenacious, high-spirited energy and attentive listening, Karen helps buyers and sellers make confident decisions while building trust and mutual understanding.
Raised on a farm in Indiana, Karen learned early in life the values of hard work, integrity, and community—principles that continue to guide her in serving her clients today. After years of professional success in California, she decided to return to her roots, kicking off her journey cross-country in an RV. Karen, her husband Ed, and their two Goldendoodles, Penny and Baxter, hit the road from the West Coast to the East Coast in their new “home on wheels.” They soaked up the beautiful countryside and eventually settled in historic Franklin, Tennessee, where they embraced the vibrant local community and all that Middle Tennessee has to offer.
Karen and her husband are music enthusiasts, love to cook, and are passionate animal lovers. Whether dining out in Nashville or crafting a meal in their own kitchen, they find joy wherever good food brings people together. Karen’s love for animals is evident in her volunteer work with Retrieving Independence, a Nashville-based nonprofit organization dedicated to breeding and training service dogs for individuals with disabilities. While they appreciate Nashville’s lively music scene, they are happy to return to their home in the charming ambiance of Franklin.
Whether Karen is helping a first-time buyer find their forever home, assisting sellers through an important transition, or guiding a family relocating to Middle Tennessee, she combines local knowledge with a genuine understanding of what “home” means. She loves helping neighbors, newcomers, and long-time locals find the place that feels just right for their next chapter.
