Karen is a native of Denver who enjoys exploring and discovering the best things about each part of the metro area. She would love to help you find the home and neighborhood that will be right for you. She practiced her skills at selling real estate at a young age – when she was around 7 or 8 years old, her friend and she pretended to sell homes. We had our file drawer of homes to sell with drawings we created of different home models and styles.
As well as being very familiar with Denver, she is an expert on the Denver schools, having worked as a Social Worker/Counselor in the Denver Public Schools for 23 years. She had the opportunity to work in all parts of Denver and see firsthand the schools in different areas. In that link of work, she did lots of listening and problem solving with students and families every day. Now she is here to listen, advise and assist you with the big decisions of buying or selling a home. Her goal is to make your experience a good one with the least stress possible, with excellent service from her and with excellent results. Finally, if you are selling with her, she will make sure your home is well marketed and given the exposure to bring in the best offers.
On a more personal level, she is married to a DU Law Professor and has two wonderful daughters. She enjoys outdoor activities, especially long walks, hikes, bike rides, and swimming. She does some skiing too, but summer is her favorite time of year – she likes the warmer days and cool evenings. In addition to all that outdoor fun, she also enjoys arts and crafts and has designed and made jewelry for about 17 years.
