About Karina
Karina Smith is a small town girl from North Texas, who combines her love for serving people with her passion for education to help you realize your real estate goal. Before jumping into a new career in real estate in 2017, Karina taught elementary school for 14 years in both private and public schools. She is an active agent and BrokerAssociate at Compass RE Texas, representing buyers and sellers at all price points.. She considers education—both clients and other agents—an important part of her role as Realtor. Karina is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a BS in Education.
Karina is a Team Principal, a Certified Stager, and a Mentor with Southern Collective Realty Group. She has received various accolades, including DFW Real Producers Top Agent, but her favorite is being named D Magazine Best Real Estate Agent—5 years in a row. Karina is a life long learner and holds these Certifications & Designations: CLHMS (Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist), MRP (Military Relocation Professional), ABR (Accredited Buyers Rep), CNHS (Certified New Home Specialist). She is a member of the National Association of Realtors and Texas Association of Realtors, as well as an Alpha Delta Pi alumnae.
Karina is joyful, detail oriented, and client focused. She serves first time buyers, veterans, luxury home buyers, new construction, land, investors, and sellers. She strives to exceed client’s expectations while caring for them as a treasured friend. Karina tells us, “Growing up in a small town taught me the value of relationships and how to serve others completely, often in unexpected ways.”
She lives a fun, empty nester life with her hubby of 35+ years, and their Golden doodles. Their 2 daughters are living their best lives in the nearby big cities, but sweetly call their Mom daily.
