Kate White

Kate White is a DMV native. Originally from Silver Spring, MD, Kate has called many of DC’s neighborhoods home over the years.

If you’re an animal lover and Kate looks familiar, perhaps you had the good fortune to meet Kate White, DVM, at Atlas Vet, where she worked for many years as a veterinarian, caring for our most precious companions. From age 12, Kate dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. She obtained her undergraduate degree in animal science from the University of Connecticut, and in 2016, earned her doctor of veterinary medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, making that dream a reality. Kate’s dedication to animal health took her on an incredible journey, from China to Africa, from Grenada to California, finally landing back in DC’s H Street neighborhood.

After much contemplation and soul-searching, in 2023 Kate made the bold decision to transition from veterinary medicine to real estate. Kate yearned for a new path that could bring people, and their beloved pets, a sense of well-being and tranquility. Guiding individuals and families to find their ideal refuge and place to call home became Kate's calling, a challenging privilege she wholeheartedly embraces.

What sets Kate apart in the real estate industry is her unwavering passion for her clients—and the trust they place in her. (After all, you wouldn’t let just anyone care for your pet, would you?) Kate believes that real estate is not just about transactions, but about creating fulfilling experiences for her clients. Whether it's horseback riding through scenic trails once or twice a week, indulging in the exquisite flavors of a cheese-tasting event (ask Kate about her love for mac ’n cheese!), or challenging opponents on the tennis court, Kate embraces every moment with enthusiasm—often with her beloved Australian Shepherd, Remy. Ultimately, Kate cherishes any time spent with amazing people, delicious food, picturesque landscapes, and the purest joy that animals bring.
