Katrina Butts

Katrina has been involved in the real estate business for over 20 years. Over that time, her passion and interest in real estate have delivered opportunities to operate in a wide range of capacities. She has represented private individuals, equity groups, builders, and sales and marketing firms. She has handled point of sale responsibilities, directed and managed the sales and marketing efforts of new home communities, condo conversions, trustee sales, short sale sourcing and BPO valuations for lenders. It’s no exaggeration to say that she has literally been responsible for the sale/closing of thousands of properties She has a thorough understanding of the market, the sales/marketing process and a deep bench of professional team members in the industry (lenders, title/escrow, inspectors, general contractors) that can be relied on to provide help.

After operating her own brokerage in La Jolla for 16 years, she recently joined Compass as a Broker Associate, adding her experience to the Compass platform to better serve all her clients in this market. Her experience has taught her the value of combining her experience in the industry, building lasting relationships and paying close attention to detail, service, professionalism and transparency. She has clearly built her client base one transaction at a time with the expressed intent of making each transaction result in ‘clients for life’.
