"We had a wonderful experience with Kelly! This was our first homebuying experience and Kelly went above and beyond to help us find a perfect fit! We had very specific location requirements and a tight timeline but she helped us make it happen! She also did an excellent job negotiating with the sellers agent. She was very available via call, text, or email. Overall she is a great advocate who really looks out for her clients' best interests. I would recommend her to anyone!"
About Kelly
Kelly is a Brand Licensing and Real Estate expert with over 17 years of commercializing icons such as Under Armour, Coca-Cola, Muhammad Ali, Collegiate, Pro-Sports, Sotheby's, and Compass. She has directed new business strategies, collaborations, and brand positioning with the purpose of building and preserving elite brands. Her extensive trademark licensing and real estate experience includes expanding brands into new markets and commercializing within e-commerce, retail, social, and real estate channels.
Kelly entered real estate drawing on her business and deal-making background combined with her upbringing around the family’s interior projects. Hailing from a family of interior decorators and six Navy pilots, Kelly learned the importance of creativity alongside a meticulous mindset. These two balanced principles guided Kelly as she built a career in branding, negotiations, and real estate. Having drawn her first floorplan at the age of 3 (on the wall!), her mind is alight with prospecting real estate, negotiating deals, and decorating interiors. Her background as a relationship manager within variegated contexts makes for a solid foundation negotiating and overseeing real estate transactions. When it comes to telling the stories of clients' homes and prepping them for the greater market, Kelly's unyielding eye for brand standards, large scale commercialization experience, and family exposure to interiors provide her clients an elevated level of service.
Kelly moved to Baltimore from Atlanta in 2008 where she worked at the Coca-Cola Global HQ in trademark licensing. Once in Baltimore she worked at an ad agency before being recruited to work at the Under Armour HQ in Locust Point. She worked there for 7.5 years before switching to real estate full time in March 2018. Kelly's real estate work has been featured in the New York Times "What You Get" article for 3 separate listings she prepped and staged for market. She was voted by her peers to serve on the Compass DC, Maryland, and Virginia Agent Advisory Council, and most recently featured in Baltimore Magazine's Top Agent publication. Kelly is a proud member of Moms of Compass and maintains a strong national network with agents across the country.
Areas of specialty include listing and branding your home, staging, contractor renovations, buying, historic architecture and guidelines, first time homebuyers, and city and state grants and tax credits. Her focus is all neighborhoods within Baltimore City as well as surrounding counties and Coastal Southern Maryland.
Kelly and her husband, Darrell, reside in an over-120-year-old Victorian in historic Bolton Hill with their son, Wolfe, and daughter, Greta. In addition to her passion for interiors, she enjoys food, swimming, running, and Maryland's coastline. Originally from the Florida panhandle's Gulf Coast, Kelly has enjoyed transitioning to the Chesapeake Bay. Although she yearns for fresh Gulf shrimp, she is happy to eat Maryland crab.
