Kelly McAlinden is the consummate real estate professional. She began her career in real estate after graduating college by working in Condo Management and Hotel Reservations. She started as a young agent, thriving in the Manhattan Downtown markets over 20 years ago securing apartments for Wall Street Bankers and Corporate America, burgeoning artists like Blueman Group, DJs, people working at the Food Network for cooks like Martha Stuart, Film Union people and Recording Artists.

Kelly continued her career uptown servicing a Corporate Relocation company which also operated a property management team. They handled lofts, townhouse sales, Condo/Coop sales and rentals for individual owners and landlords. Since starting in the business, she sold numerous privately owned Coops & Condominiums in Midtown, Tutor City, the Upper East Side including Roosevelt Island, Sutton Place, Kips Bay, the Turtle Bay Gardens and the Upper West Side including South Harlem. Branching out into other areas she sold properties in Chelsea, Murray Hill, Greenwich Village, Soho including the Lower East Side, Tribeca and Battery Park. She has extensive experience selling Coops and in the regulations involved in owning a Coop, as opposed to a Title issued for Condominium ownership and privately owned homes.

She has always been a solid advocate for her clients. In 2005, while living in Greenwich Village, Kelly decided to start an independent realty firm Kelly NYC. She used her network and relationships to secure exclusive property offerings at the international Horizon Condominium beside the United Nations and in the 'Black & Whites', a row of unique and historic townhouses located on a lovely cobblestone cul de sac where the far end of East 72d St meets the East River. She excelled in efficient marketing and selling apartments downtown in Greenwich Village, Chelsea and the Financial District.

Kelly has a remarkably successful track record of closing deals while working hard assisting buyers, sellers and renters these past decades. She can coach buyers through a Coop Board interview, tackle the all-encompassing paperwork required for Board Packages and navigate the red tape of securing a home loan. Passed the US Coastguard course, explored New York Harbor up the Hudson River as far North to West Point, the shallow inlets to Fire Island and all the way to Fair Harbor Ferry dock. As the saying goes, the best part of owning a boat is the day you buy it and the day you sell it. She was also chef at 4- and 5-star restaurants while in college and still enjoys cooking French, German, Italian, Indian, Greek, Spanish, Middle Eastern, American, Chinese, Regional dishes and Pescetarian food.
