About Kelly

Awarded Realtor of The Year 2021

Malibu Association Of Realtors

Kelly Pessis has been a top producing Realtor® offering concierge style service to the SoCal Coastal communities for over 23 years. Through skillful marketing, staging and careful timing, Kelly averages a sale price 3% above those of other Los Angeles area agents, sells 59% faster than the typical time on the market and is ranked within the top 10% for homes sales in the greater Los Angeles Area*. She is currently on the governing board for The Malibu Association of Realtors and deals with a broad range of issues that impact Realtors and homeowners locally, regionally and nationally. Her knowledge, networking and activism is used to skillfully negotiate deals, to educate her clients and to help navigate them through the property acquisition process.

A believer in wealth building through real estate, Kelly Pessis is passionate about assisting her clients in achieving their goals. Although her practice is built primarily around residential real estate sales, she has worked with some of the Los Angeles area's largest developers on the wholesale acquisition, and renovation to retail trade, of single family homes throughout the Los Angeles area.  Kelly owns and self manages multi-residential units in 3 SoCal Counties, and develops raw land in some of the most challenging and restrictive regions of Los Angeles County. Her understanding of construction, bureaucratic complexities and market trends gives her and her clients a distinct advantage.

A native Californian, Kelly was raised in Beverlywood and has lived in several local communities before moving to Malibu in 1992. Kelly is an equestrian, mom and wife with a love of adventure and world travel. She is also an activist for legislation that promotes homeownership and property owner rights.  Kelly is a charter member of the Malibu City Task Force on Homelessness, appointed in September 2021, and serves on two Ad Hoc Committees working on homeless solutions for the city.   Kelly is also a VP of the Malibu Middle and High School PTSA (2019 to present) as a director of the Health and Safety committee.
