About Jen

"Selling the City That Raised Me" 

Jen Wackenhut is a Miami native and a current resident of the Village of Pinecrest. She graduated from Ransom Everglades High School in Miami's famed Coconut Grove neighborhood, and received a BA in Advertising with a minor in Spanish from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

After returning to her beloved hometown of Miami, Jen went on to receive her Associate's degree in Creative Copywriting from Miami Ad School on Miami Beach. She worked at a handful of top Miami advertising agencies for years before taking a break to raise her two children. After missing her place in the working world, she decided to pursue real estate as a career that would afford her more flexibility to balance her duties as both a professional and a Mother.

Jen is currently a full-time Real Estate Specialist with the Smith Formosa Group at Compass in the South Miami/Coral Gables office, drawing from her extensive Miami connections to help her clients buy and sell real estate in the very backyard in which she was raised, hence the tagline "Selling the City That Raised Me". She reached Top Producer status in 2024 and continues to meet and exceed her career and professional goals. Jen services all of Miami-Dade but specializes in the areas of Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, South Miami, Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay.
