"Wow! We were originally just searching for someone who might know our neighborhood to list our house. We lived in a quiet community where houses were rarely sold, so it would be hard to price our house. I had met Kevin at a separate open house and was pleased with his demeanor. I contacted three realtors to compare and Kevin was one of them. He showed up having done the most research and the best vision for preparing our house for sale. We were already pleased, but this turned out to be just the beginning. As we were trying to save money, we developed a 1 month fix-up plan, and I did most of the work or oversaw the contractors. During this period, Kevin stopped by almost every day to see the progress, offer more advice, help control the contrators, and even played with our kids! Kevin lent us tools that we did not have, invited us to open houses nearby so that we could see with other people had done, and also occasionally showed up in work clothes and helped around the house. You could tell that he was genuinely interested in helping us out. I knew he was going above and beyond his responsibilities and really appreciated it. We ended up having to move before the construction was complete. He took over managing the contractors, and even finished up some of the work himself. He even installed some stepping stones in the front yard from the street to the front door. He told us previously that he gives each of his clients a little gift, but it was still a nice surprise and made the property look better. He even covered some unexpected costs and let us settle it at closing. Even though we have moved far away, we keep in touch. I looked for a realtor and feel that I had found a friend. As for the house, it was listed on a Friday, got an offer on Saturday, contracted on Monday, and settled in two weeks with a cash purchase! It was listed for $10,000's more than I expected, and sold for more than the listing price. I know Austin is a seller's market right now, but I am sure that Kevin helped me get much more than I could have without him. I would definitely use Kevin again if given the chance. In fact, I wouldn't think of using anyone else. I know that this review sounds a bit over-enthusiastic. I really went into this without any expectations and was so happy with Kevin and his results.
