“Home” is more than just a place to Kim. It’s the hub of her life story. It’s where she celebrates successes and heals hurts. It’s where she hangs out with her friends, creates memories, and nurtures her kids. It’s a reflection of who she is. So, Kim gets it: buying or selling a home is a very big deal. It’s nail-biting, exhilarating, gut-wrenching, and life-changing all at the same time.
For Kim as a real estate agent, nothing is more gratifying than helping a client find the right home or make the right sale. It’s the reason she does what she does. Kim loves the hunt. She loves figuring out what clients really want. Kim loves using her interior design background to show clients the hidden potential in a fixer-upper or how to better showcase their home to potential buyers. Kim loves solving problems, making deals, and seeing clients light up when they hear their offer has been accepted. In a way, Kim has been training for this all her life.
Kim’s mother is an award-winning interior designer and her father is a Realtor®. She grew up learning about home construction and design styles by tagging along with her mom on home and hotel installations in Denver and nearby mountain resorts.
Kim earned her business degree in small business management and marketing at the University of Colorado in Boulder. She transitioned from one opportunity to the next before settling on real estate as a career. Kim has traveled and worked in Hawaii, California, and Aspen, and has been a small business owner. Kim operated an interior design firm for more than 20 years, creating homes in Denver, Aspen, Vail, Summit County, and Hawaii. She has learned to how to spot “good bones” and red flags in a home’s layout or construction and has learned about what makes a house a home.
Kim grew up in Denver, where she and her husband are raising their two children. She knows the city’s parks and neighborhoods as well as its business districts, public transportation, and traffic patterns. Kim knows the culture and quirks of Denver’s many residential areas and has seen how they’ve changed and continue to evolve.
All this life experience has prepared her well. Kim helps clients find the right home or attract the right buyer, understand the process, get through the paperwork and see new possibilities to make the best deal and celebrate what the future brings.
