Kim Heslin

As a life-long adventurer and outdoor enthusiast, I bring the same passion and goal-driven approach to real estate. Born in Venezuela, my family later moved to Hong Kong where I lived for seven years. We then moved to Switzerland where I attended fifth through ninth grade in Geneva. Upon moving to the United States, I finished high school at a boarding school, then went on to study at the University of Denver, Colorado, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business.

With a strong business sense and a love for travel, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to work for Wilderness Travel, a pioneering leader in the Adventure Travel industry. In 2003, I transitioned into real estate and joined the Tahoe Real Estate Group. The company was acquired by Compass, a national real estate company with headquarters in New York that represents over twenty major markets including the Bay Area.

Lake Tahoe is now my home, and as a full-time real estate professional, I work with clients in the North and West Shores, and Truckee. I am a member of the Tahoe Sierra Board of Realtors®, the California Association of Realtors®, the National Association of Realtors®, and the Tahoe Sierra Multiple Listing Service. In addition, my husband Matt Heslin is owner of Heslin Construction in Truckee, one of the lake’s premier custom home builders. With Matt’s solid background in building and my interest in interior design, we have designed, built and sold multiple projects together. Bottom line—I know Lake Tahoe homes, from design and construction, to sales.
